Day 6 of Layoff Watch 2008 is here. As we wait for news, we thought it might be instructive to take note of how another major Texas newspaper is conducting its job cuts, the Houston Chronicle.
We realize the inherit pitfalls in comparing one company to another. Especially when one company is publicly traded, such as A.H. Belo, and the other, Hearst, is private.
Caveats aside, compare away.
