Only one out of 39 voters in the "Do you think the DMN met its buyout target" poll thought that the newspaper was successful in reaching the 40-plus mark. Newsroom managers had cited a number in that range based on Corporate's desire to have an editorial staff of about 350 full-timers. If you are correct, layoffs will be coming.

Far from it. At best 20-29: 27 (69%)
Run for the hills. Less than 20: 8 (20%)
In the ballpark. Probably 30-39: 3 (7%)
Yes. 40+ people. Layoffs averted: 1 (2%)
